Size: 50"w x 32" h

Inspiration for this quilt came with the thought of blending science with art. I have always thought that a DNA Double Helix strand is so beautiful. The Double Helixes were created by fusing Dupioni silk and then satin stitching the edges. You will also find DNA represented by couched ribbons and DNA patches using Stewart Gill paints. This piece is machine free motion quilted.
