Wine Country I
This is a small piece that I created for a study for a future larger project. The techniques and materials I used on white micro suede were alcohol inks, felting and layering of scrim and other materials. I wanted depth but also to created an ethereal
and abstract landscape that would pull the viewer into the piece. The organic edges, I feel, help give the quilt a feeling of being able to walk into the scene. Detail
