As fiber artists David Charity and Trish Charity have participated in various local, regional and national exhibits. David and Trish's art quilts run from abstract to representational. They have work that has been displayed in several regional galleries, including Soft Expressions (Anaheim, Ca), the Gallery at the Merc (Temecula, Ca.), the gallery at Quilt Visions (Point Loma, San Diego, Ca.), The Framery and Fine Art Gallery (Whittier, Ca.), and Tesoro's, a local winery with a gift shop (Temecula, Ca.).
David and Trish Charity's fiber art pieces include many unusual materials. One of their current favorites are the fabrics from Ghana, Africa. David and Trish have been able to pick up some wonderful pieces from a vendor (
Ananse Village) at the Long Beach Festival. This is the newest of the shows put on by the
International Quilt Festival.
David and Trish Charity also incorporate silks, decorator fabrics,
Stewart Gill paints, SetaColor paints and print their own fabrics. David Charity has also used
Spoonflower (a print on demand business) to have a fabric printed in a larger size than can handled on a personal printer.
Ananse Village has updated their website. They have a wonderful array of other items for sale beyond their fabulous fabrics.
